Long time residents of their social, friendly townhouse complex, these clients decided on a total overhaul on a home whose location they love. We swapped out the original fixtures and finishes of this 23-yr old unit and made some long-overdue functional changes too. Both busy first responders, the clients told us they wanted to feel serene and peaceful when they walked in the door, with nothing glaring or over-dramatic. We achieved this with the use of natural, light wood tones, plenty of textures and tone-on-tone layering of finishes that is classic and un-fussy.
